Suman Narayan is a global leader in semiconductors and embedded systems with more than 30 years of experience across intelligent power, analog and mixed‑signal, sensors, and processors for automotive, industrial, and high‑performance markets. As Chief Executive Officer of Cyient Semiconductor, he drives the company’s growth strategy and engineering execution to deliver differentiated silicon and system solutions worldwide.

Suman has a strong track record of scaling product portfolios and high‑performing engineering and P&L organizations. At Allegro MicroSystems, he led the $1B+ Power & Sensors Business Unit of 600+ employees, delivering sustained double‑digit growth and a 2.5× increase in product innovation and velocity.

In his leadership roles at Texas Instruments and ON Semiconductor, Suman drove major product and business growth across embedded processing and intelligent power. At TI, he ran the $500M+ Embedded Processor P&L, leading global teams of 600+ engineers across silicon, hardware, software, and systems. He also incubated and scaled both the ARM‑based Sitara™ processors and the Motor Driver business units—establishing Sitara as a key applications‑processor platform and growing Motor Drivers which are now both over $500M+ franchises. At ON Semiconductor, he led the High‑Performance Smart Power business, advancing switching efficiency and power density for industrial, telecom, and power‑delivery applications.

Suman holds an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin, an MS in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from Iowa State University, and a BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering from PSG College of Technology.
